Toms River’s 82nd Memorial Day Parade Info

The 82nd annual Toms River Memorial Day Parade, sponsored by the George P. Vanderveer American Legion Post 129, is set for Monday.

Rain or shine, the parade assembly begins at 9 a.m. in the parking lot of the Office Lounge on Main Street and Route 37. The parade steps off at 9:30am and marches down Main Street to Washington Street. Ceremonies honoring the military who gave their lives will be held at Toms River Town Hall.

The American Legion Post invites civic and service organizations, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Brownies and Cub Scouts, as well as church groups and others to participate.
