Toms River Township is celebrating a milestone anniversary on Saturday June 24th!

The ceremony will begin at 11am at Huddy Park.  You can meet local dignitaries, sign the Township Charter, enjoy music from the Old Barracks Fife and Drum Corp, and meet the Joshua Huddy chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Beginning at noon, a food truck festival takes over Washington Street! There will be a number of food trucks, activities for the kids and a beer garden for the adults. Proceeds will benefit the Toms River PBA and the Toms River Volunteer Fire Company.

The Hawk Flight Crew will be there from 2:30-4:30, playing games and giving away prizes, so be sure to look for the Hawk tent and stop by!

Vin Ebenau of Townsquare News has been taking a deeper look into the life of Joshua Huddy, which you can check out here.
