Toms River Police say 54-year old Luiz Perez who left home April 3 without any medicine, i-d or his cell phone and in need of medical attention was found safely this week in a New York Medical Facility.

"We would like to thank the media and public who assisted us in locating him," Toms Rive Police Spokesman Ralph Stocco said in a release. "To maintain the family’s privacy no further information will be released."

Toms River Police are asking for you help in finding a missing person they say is in immediate need of medical treatment.

54-year old Luis Perez, who suffers from several medical conditions and lives with his parents who also serve as his caretakers, left home April 3 without any medicine, i-d or his cell phone.

Perez has not made any contact with family or friends since suddenly leaving home which is in the North Dover section of the township.

Police say he is not operating a motor vehicle.

It's not clear why he left or in what state of mind he may be in but police say the public including anyone who may came in touch with him is not in any danger.

He is 5'9" and weighs 95 pounds.

If you have even the smallest bit of information police are asking for you to contact them.

"We would like to know information even if it seems insignificant," Toms River Police Spokesman Ralph Stocco said. "This would include sightings at convenience stores, retail businesses, food establishments, hospitals, bus stops, etc. This information is being sought throughout New Jersey and includes Atlantic City, New York City, and Philadelphia."
