The cause of death is unknown ahead of the autopsy by the Ocean County Medical Examiner's Office but police believe no foul play was involved at this stage of the investigation.

Toms River police responded to the scene after being "flagged down by a pedestrian on Main Street" who told them they'd seen the unresponsive man.

The victim's identity hasn't been positively identified but police believe he's a 45-year old resident of Berkeley Township.

The death is being investigated by Toms River Police Detective Jon Turner and Detective Taryn Schwartz from the Ocean County Prosecutors Office.
