Toms River Police: $20,000 stolen from Vehicle Behind Red Roof Inn

A jewelry thief is on the loose.

Police are looking for a suspect who stole jewelry from a vehicle parked behind the Red Roof Inn on Water Street in Toms River on October 25th.

An article in the Ocean Signal reveals that the suspect is a white male 5’10” and was observed on video going into the vehicle and removing a case with the jewelry.

The victim is a Toms River resident and is in the jewelry business.
