Toms River PD Create ‘Safe Exchange Zone’

I've been getting rid of a lot of stuff lately, using things like LetGo or Facebook Marketplace or CraigsList. Some of it is just old stuff I don't use anymore, lots of it is stuff related to Baby Varacchi that she's outgrown. Regardless of what it is, it's always a bit sketchy to meet up with someone. I don't necessarily want to give my address, nor do I want to go to someone else's house.

Lots of towns have presented a solution by creating "Safe Exchange Zones", and Toms River just added their name to the list.

Next time you want to buy or sell something, tell the other party to meet up at the Toms River Police Department.
