In May 2014, a fire tore through a building on the corner of Robbins Street and Washington Street in downtown Toms River. The building was gutted, demolished, and turned into a park owned by 27 Washington Street Associates LLC; that company leases the land to Toms River Township.

The LLC had drawn up plans to build condos on the site, but even after getting approval, they've decided to sell the property.

The 45-foot by 130-foot chunk of land is listed on Realtor.com for $550,000. The plan features 20 condominium units with a one-level parking garage at the bottom of the structure. The condominiums would be a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units.

Considering these condos would be spitting distance from Townsquare Tower, I would definitely have to look into living there. Walk to work? Sounds good to me!
