Tommy Lee at 51: Speaks Up for the Voiceless
Happy (belated) birthday, Tommy Lee!
He was born on October 3, 1962 in Athens, Greece (his mother is Greek) but raised in Southern California.
Tommy is a strong and vocal supporter of animal rights and PETA and has spoken out on a number of issues of cruelty, including the documented cases of horrendous abuse against chickens by Kentucky Fried Chicken.
In fact, Tommy donated autographed drumsticks to be auctioned off as a benefit for the “Kentucky Fried Cruelty” campaign–more at kentuckyfriedcruelty.com.
As for Motley Crue, they’re currently in their second residency at The Joint in The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Vegas, and cordially invite you to An Evening in Hell.
And concerning future plans for the band, Rolling Stone reported last August that Vince Neil said the band will kick off their farewell tour in the spring of 2014 and they’ll release their next album at that time.
