Two 16-year old males and a 17-year old male were taken into custody Friday after Jackson Township Police responded to a report of a robbery at gunpoint at Flair Park near the intersection of Buckingham Drive and Birmingham Drive just after 9 pm.

Victims of the incident told police two suspects brandished a semi-automatic handgun and stole sneakers and a backpack which held undisclosed personal items.

A search for the suspects resulted in the arrest of three male teenagers along with two air-soft guns that gave the realistic appearance of real handguns.

One of the 16-year old males and the 17-year old male were arrested and juvenile complaints were signed and they face charges of robbery, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose (utilizing an imitation firearm to commit a robbery).

The remaining 16-year old male was also arrested with a juvenile complaint signed and faces a charge of conspiracy to commit robbery.

The public is reminded that any persons arrested or charged with any offenses or crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
