The World’s Longest Water Slide Is In New Jersey

Action Park, in northern New Jersey, unveiled this 1,975-foot water slide last week, and it has since been verified by Guinness as the longest in the world.

The slide isn’t open to the public, and it’s not clear if it ever will be. Action Park spokeswoman Lauren Scrudato said there is currently no timeline for when the waterslide will be state-certified and open to the public, citing a "lengthy process."
