The Rt. 9 Bayville Dinosaur Facing Some Hurdles

The restoration of the iconic Rt 9 Dinosaur in Bayville is having some issues.

According to Berkeley Township Mayor Carmen F. Amato Jr., the new property owners of where the dinosaur once stood, have not approved restoring the dinosaur since they are not sure yet what they want their new property to look like.

The mayor also adds "They new owners were receptive to the restoration efforts but didn't want to commit until they were sure how they would market and use the property."

Another issue that is money. The "Save the Dinosaur" group has raised $10,000 but needs another $5,000 more
