The NHL Season Starts Tonight – Will You Watch?

After the NHL and the player's union finally found enough common ground to strike a labor deal, there is a new NHL season and it starts tonight.    Now it's time to dust off that jersey and the hat or whatever you wear to watch your favorite team and get read for hockey because it is finally time to drop the puck! The NHL kicks off today with some amazing local game including the Rangers in Boston to take on the Bruins, The Flyers welcome the Penguins to the City of brotherly love and the Devils will be in Long Island to take on the Islanders. Unfortunately though, not everyone is thrilled about it.

When lockouts happen, the only people that get held hostage by labor negotiations are the fans. So when teams hit the ice, many fans won't be watching because they feel hurt or upset over the long layoff, the 3rd that has either interrupted part or the entire season in the last 20 years. But is it really worth it? Missing out on watching such a great sport over things that are out of the fans' control?
