The Cove in Bayville Has Officially Closed It’s Doors

This past weekend was the final weekend for the popular waterfront bar, The Cove Restaurant in Bayville.

They have been sold to MJ's Pizza Bar & Grill who has multiple locations in Monmouth County.

The Cove has been there since 2011, but was also well known as "Windows on the Bay".

The Cove was a great place for locals to hang out all year round to get some food and drinks, and to listen to live music inside, and was also a great Summer spot to go to by boat or car, and hang on the "beach" outside.

A lot of good times happened at the Cove. There was always something fun going on.

According to the Berkeley Patch, The Cove Owner, Lou Turro, is 77 years old and is looking to retire.

No word how long the restaurant will be closed for while renovations are underway.
