The Beast! [Rock Artist Birthdays][VIDEO]

John Bonham would have turned 64 years old today had he survived his rock ‘n roll lifestyle, but I have a feeling that he’d still be able to dazzle on the drum kit.

Varacchi paid tribute a little while ago, but we both agree that Bonham is such a legend there can’t possibly be too many homages!

He was born on May 31, 1948 in Worcestershire, England and began playing the drums at the age of five, with a drum kit he created from coffee tins and containers.

Of course, Bonzo would go on to become one of the greatest drummers of all time, and his ability and influence can’t be overstated.

Happy birthday to John Bonham, who’s no doubt still jamming on The Other Side!
