Political signs seem to be one of those things that we all hate, but somehow won't go away. I don't care who you are voting for, I don't understand people who feel the need to broadcast their political views to everyone, and frankly the signs just look ugly when they're scattered all over the side of the road.

Did you know that most towns have a deadline for political signs? Toms River, for example, requires residents to remove all political signage seven days after Election Day.

Any political signs which are placed in violation of these regulations shall be removed by the Township officials at the expense of the person or political organization who so located the sign.

Hey, seven days? That happens to be yesterday! Get that crap off your lawn.
