Take Out the Trash Correctly in Lavallette or get a Summons

Attention residents of Lavallette, if you use white garbage bags to throw away your trash, and place them curbside you will receive a summons from the town.

There is garbage all over the streets of Lavallette because of Seagulls ripping open the white bags looking for food, and tossing the garbage around they don't want.

Officials said in the coming weeks, Lavallette code enforcement officers would begin issuing summonses to residents who do not comply with the borough’s proper procedures for trash disposal.

Residents must use thick black garbage bags, or garbage cans to put their trash in before placing it curbside. Click here for the full story
