Grades vs. Ghouls – Union County Students Banned from Wearing Costumes
Score one for those who hate Halloween.
A Union County superintendent banned students at the district’s two elementary schools from wearing their costumes to school yesterday. Michael Davino, of Springfield, cited concerns that dressing up distracts students from learning and championed celebrating the holiday after school hours.
