If you've been hoping to catch the Eagles on tour this summer, you just might be in luck -- if you're willing to drive to see them. The legendary California rockers have announced a limited number of shows for their 'History of the Eagles' tour, which will kick off July 6 in Louisville, Ky. and wrap up in Bethel, N.Y. on July 25.
Eagles Announce ‘History of the Eagles’ DVD/Blu-ray Release Date
Last month's two-episode Showtime documentary chronicling the rise and fall of the Eagles will be available on DVD and Blu-ray next month. The band announced today that 'History of the Eagles' will be released on April 30, and include a third disc featuring the group's performance at the Capital Centre in Landover, Md. in 1977.

Frey was born November 6th, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan. He just turned 63. He formed the Eagles at the tender age of 23, after he met Don Henley in 1970 and the two eventually joined Linda Ronstadt's backup band....the Eagles officially formed in 1971 and released their debut album in 1972.
