In case you didn't know, Townsquare Media Jersey Shore operates 94.3 The Point, 92.7 WOBM, Beach Radio 104.1 FM, 105.7 The Hawk, and Shore Sports Network. On Wednesday night, all five brands came together and hosted our first ever Family Fun Fest at Casino Pier in Seaside Heights. A huge thank you to everyone who came out! The turnout was impressive and we greatly appreciate the support. Expect Townsquare Media Jersey Shore to continue to have more family-friendly events. We had a blast and we hope you did too!

I celebrated a successful day with boardwalk ice cream. I stumbled upon a place called Sweet Charlie's, they are a nationwide chain and they recently opened a new location on the Seaside Height's Boardwalk. To be honest, I never heard of the place but once I saw "Hand Rolled Ice Cream" on the front sign, I had to give it a try.

I love pizza and I love surprises! On Saturday, after my Asbury Park Boardwalk show, I made my way to a cornhole tournament in Wall Township. The 18 person tournament was happening in my best friend's backyard. Unfortunately, it wasn't the best tournament because of the rain and an argument between teams interfered with the good vibes... However, I was pleasantly surprised by a thin crust pizza that I think is the best at the Jersey Shore.

Asbury Park is a special place. The beach is beautiful, the boardwalk is classic, the restaurants are one of a kind and the music history is legendary. I am in awe every time I think Ray Charles and James Brown played at Convention Hall in the 1960s. Even today, the music scene is tremendous and I am thrilled to be getting the word out about Cookman Avenue Live!

Get ready to pop some popcorn because movies on the beach are returning to Point Pleasant Beach! Our great friends at Jenkinson's do a really nice job with their movies on the beach series and starting Tuesday, June 29th you'll be able to watch Frozen II. Check out the full schedule!

To ensure swimming beaches are clean and good to go throughout the summer the Ocean County Health Department has announce they have a group of water inspectors who will be testing the waters on a weekly basis.

You'll be able to have some fun in the sun this summer, be it at the beach, boardwalk, amusement park or even a home barbecue, but no matter what you do and when, you'll need to do all you can to be safe and healthy.
