Tuesday's predawn fire that destroyed an ice cream vending hut on the Seaside Park beachfront looks less and less like an accident, to Ocean County arson investigators who found traces of accelerant inside.

Almost thirty years ago, I was an out of control "shock jock" causing trouble on what was known as a "carrier current" station, a low wattage AM signal that carried a few blocks throughout the campus.

An overcast day did not keep the crowd away from our Seaside Park broadcasts.  Heck, I broke my toe and came out... what's your excuse? Highlights included Meagan's 16th birthday party and the endless group of "BFF's" who planned to, but forgot to promote their Instagram pages!

When I joined the 105.7 The Hawk team in the spring of 2013, I knew it was a great fit. Just a few months later, they told me I would be broadcasting from the Seaside Park Boardwalk all summer, and I thought I hit the lottery! Memorial Day weekend, the party continues again as we take over Seaside Park (just south of the delicious Sawmill) ...
