The first pylon for the new boardwalk in Seaside Heights was driven into the sand back in January, and starting this weekend, people will once again will be able to walk on the new boardwalk from Webster Ave south to Seaside Park. Temporary railings will be installed but there still won't be beach access until Memorial Day

East Dover Firehouse is holding their 18th annual golf outing on Thursday may 16th at Bea Lea Golf Course in Toms River. When Hurricane Sandy hit, it destroyed the firehouse and their much needed equipment to help them do their jobs. The firehouse was filled with over 3 feet of water that destroyed everything they had. They are currently working out of 2 trailers in their parking lot due to the pure destruction inside.
