The Restore the Shore Music Festival is happening this Saturday May 18th in Seaside Park right next door to the Saw Mill starring some of the best New Jersey PARTY BANDS. The event is TOTALLY FREE but Voluntary donations will be accepted for Hometown Heroes and the coolest Restore the Shore gear will be on sale!

Earlier in the week, Seaside Heights officials announced that the new boardwalk would be open from Webster Ave heading south to Seaside Park starting on Saturday.

They opened it early!!

Section Of The Seaside Boardwalk Reopens This Weekend!

The first pylon for the new boardwalk in Seaside Heights was driven into the sand back in January, and starting this weekend, people will once again will be able to walk on the new boardwalk from Webster Ave south to Seaside Park.

Temporary railings will be installed but there still won't be beach access until Memorial Day

It's hard to believe that today is the six month anniversary of Hurricane Sandy. An event that has changed the Jersey Shore forever.

So many thoughts go through my head about how things are today six months later. I feel a sense of hope and excitement, but I also have a strong sense of anxiety as well.

Charity Golf Outing To Help Rebuild East Dover Fire Department

East Dover Firehouse is holding their 18th annual golf outing on Thursday may 16th at Bea Lea Golf Course in Toms River.

When Hurricane Sandy hit, it destroyed the firehouse and their much needed equipment to help them do their jobs. The firehouse was filled with over 3 feet of water that destroyed everything they had. They are currently working out of 2 trailers in their parking lot due to the pure destruction inside.

It's exactly 5 months since Hurricane Sandy ravaged the jersey Shore. There are still a lot of unanswered questions. A lot of anxiety by homeowners who do not know when they will get insurance checks to rebuild or repair their homes.

Accuweather.com sent a camera crew along for a tour of the Jersey Shore with Mike Schwartz of Hometown Heroes to see the progress that has been made since Hurricane Sandy. Check out the story and video here

Photos of the devastation that was happening at the height of Hurricane Sandy were released today.

A camera that was running on generator power and that was attached to the underneath of the Mantoloking bridge took these photos of the debris rushing through Barnegat Bay.

Benefit at the Beachcomber for the East Dover Firehouse in Toms River [PHOTOS]

On Saturday March 2nd, a benefit will be happening at the Beachcomber in Seaside Heights for the East Dover Firehouse on Fischer Boulevard in Toms River.

The firehouse sustained about $50,000 worth of damage from the 4 feet of water that engulfed Fischer Blvd and the firehouse from Hurricane Sandy.
