Brick Township officials have closed certain points of the Brick Beach system after Tropical Storm Hermine exposed part of the steel revetment wall.

A surfer in South Jersey was spotted by a news video crew going into the rough waves; they lost sight of him until he reappeared nearly two miles down the coast.
