On Thursday, Free Beer had to leave "The Free Beer & Hot Wings Morning Show" a little early to go to a doctor's appointment with his wife. It was a big day. If all went according to plan, he and his wife were going to find out the genders of the twins on the way!

Early on "The Free Beer & Hot Wings Morning Show" today, we talked with retired professional boxer Laila Ali. She is the daughter of heavyweight boxing legend Muhammad Ali and is married to former NFL wide receiver Curtis Conway, who is one of Free Beer's sports broadcast partners with Compass Media Networks.

Free Beer is again calling football games for Compass Media Networks this season. This past weekend, he was at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Ind., calling the Michigan State-Indiana game. Eighth-ranked Michigan State won 56-17 in a total second-half blowout.
