Growing up as a fan of hard rock and heavy metal, I remember vividly the first time I was introduced to the world of thrash metal. I was with a buddy after hockey practice and he says to me " hey, you gotta check out this band Anthrax, they are just AWESOME," and from the first notes of the classic tune "Caught in a Mosh" I was hooked and haven't looked back since.

Happy Birthday to one of the legendary frontmen  hard rock,  the Scorpions Klaus Meine, who turns 65 years young today. Klaus is one of only two members of the legendary German-based band, along with guitarist Rudolf Schenker, that have been on every Scorpion album, since he joined the band in 1970...

Eddie Van Halen, one of the greatest, if not THE greatest guitar player of our era turns 58 today.
