So earlier in the week I posted a video of the childhood home that I grew up in on Staten Island. My brother and I sold the house, and I was there one last time to collect the last of my things. Check out what I found    

As most of you know, I grew up in Staten Island, New York, but before that I lived in Chicago. My parents were both originally from New York but moved to Chicago for my dad's job. (I actually was born in Cleveland, Ohio, but that's for another time lol)

So this weekend  is the "Gentleman of the Road" music festival on the beach in Seaside Heights. It's going to be a little bit crazy there with officials expecting 30,000-75,000 concert goers to be watching the show. I came up with some other things to do this weekend on the Jersey Shore besides Seaside Heights

I came across this video on Facebook today of Casino Pier in the early 80's, and figured I would share it since we LOVE going down memory Lane. Hard to believe this was taken 30 years ago or so. Enjoy!!!

Van Halen was on Jimmy Kimmel last night to promote their new "Tokyo Dome- Live in Concert" Cd, and to also kick of their summer tour. At the beginning of "Panama", David Lee Roth came out on stage spinning the microphone stand like a Mad-Man. At some point while spinning it, he hit himself in the face causing him to bleed, and eventually had to stop the live performance to go get fixed up and to then start the song again.. So this Sunday night is the season finale of The Walking Dead on AMC at 9pm. It's a special 90 minute episode It's one of The Lovely Christina's favorite shows and she is bummed this Sunday is the last one for a while.

I'll be hanging at Lester Glenn Hyundai on Route 37 in Toms River tomorrow (Saturday) from 10a-noon for their EXTENDED St. Patrick's Day Party. It's their Pot O' Gold Savings event There will be free food, music, tons of giveaways, and HUGE SAVINGS on all vehicles

Congratulations to Joann Augustine and the crew at Shore Point Distributors in Freehold . They won lunch from the Atlanta Bread Company in Toms River. I stopped by with the Hawk Flight Crew today and personally delivered lunch to the gang.

The band is called "The Warning", and they are pretty awesome! What makes them even more special is that the three girls in the band are only 9, 11, and 14 years old Alejandra, Paulina, and Daniela are three sisters from Mexico who absolutely love music Check out their cover of Metallica's "Enter Sandman" Here's the girls performing "Back in Black"...

So I have been talking about getting into shape for the summer. I don't need to lose that much weight. Maybe 10-15 lbs, but I also want to start eating healthier, and to get into better shape overall A few weeks ago I was flipping through the channels and stopped on the Home Shopping Channel when I saw they were selling the Magic Bullet. I have been considering buying one for a while but never went ahead with it because I don't have a clue of what to do. But I thought, if I'm serious about getting in better shape, it's TIME TO LEARN.
