The lot that housed Foodtown has been empty for over a decade, but Superdome Sports finally plans to fill that spot.

Last summer, we told you that Brick had approved both a retail center and a sport complex for the location, and now details are emerging about the sports complex.

According to Brick Shorebeat, the athletic center will include fields for lacrosse, soccer, football and softball, as well as a ballet studio, meeting space and physical therapy areas. Owner Peter Tasca also mentioned the possibility of an indoor surfing facility.
