Prepping for Super Bowl 50? Need to get into the spirit before you get your game face on for 'Super Sunday?' It's hard to believe that this year celebrates the 50th year of one of America's most celebrated games. In those 50 years, there have been a ton of fantastic football movies made as well.

Whether you're rooting for Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers or Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos, maybe you're in a box pool at the office or just excited to see some funny commercials, there is something for everyone during the Super Bowl.     Yes, there is a more recent version of this movie with Adam Sandler, but this is the version you need to watch. Burt Reynolds as Paul "Wrecking" Crewe, the captain of a group of inmates playing football against the prison guards.

    Former President Ronald Regan starred as George 'The Gipper' Gip who legendary coach Knute Rockne used as inspiration to motivate his team to victory. The term "win one for the Gipper" is still used as motivation for sports teams today.

    The movie stars Billy Bob Thornton and follows the Perriman High School football team from Texas. The movie was based on the award-winning novel and then later was also turned into a tv show for NBC.

    James Caan portrays the head coach of a large college football program in this underrated film. The coach deals with the difficulty of putting a winning team on the field without compromising all of his principles to do so.

    Olive Stone directed this drama about the highs and lows of a professional football team. The movie includes great casting with Al Pacino as the embattled head coach, Dennis Quaid as the veteran quarterback and Jamie Foxx as the young up-and-coming player.

    While you may shy away from wanting to believe "Dawson's Creek" star James Van Der Beek could make a believable quarterback for a Texas high school team, he actually does a good job of convincing you. It doesn't hurt having Ali Larter sporting a whip cream bikini in one scene either.

    Adam Sandler stars as waterboy Bobby Boucher who starts taking out his inner anger on opposing players and becomes part of the team. How can you not love a movie that has Henry Winkler (aka "The Fonz") as head coach?

    While it isn't the greatest movie on the list by a long shot, the movie has enough funny lines to put a smile on your face. A young Kathy Ireland as the placekicker doesn't hurt either.

    Were you one of the one's who were always picked last or never picked to play at all? If so, then you'll root for coach Rick Moranis and his cast of  pee wee misfits, the Little Giants, as they take on the town team coached by Ed O'Neill.

    The movie is somewhat based on the story of the Kilpatrick Mustangs, a team made up of juvenile delinquents. Their coach is portrayed by WWE Superstar and former Miami Hurricane, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

    Matthew McConaughey portrays the college coach who has been given the daunting cause of rebuilding a football program after the entire team was lost in a plane crash.
