Stonehenge has been revealed to have possibly been created by Stone Age man as a pre-historic venue for rock music.

You can't make this stuff up.

An online article reports that according to experts from London's Royal College of Art, some of the stones sound like bells, drums, and gongs when they are 'played' - or hit with hammers.

The rocks are reported to make metallic and wooden sounds in many different notes.

Could metal have been born here?

So Spinal Tap was really just paying homage to the roots of rock and metal and of course had no idea. :-D
