Stevie turns 64 tomorrow, born May 26, 1948 in Phoenix, Arizona.

A distinct and highly emotive voice, an ethereal visual presence, a creator of lyrical symbolism, Nicks will always embody the mystical.

I have enormous respect and admiration for her fantastic body of work.

The first time I saw this mysterious and intense artist was with Fleetwood Mac when they actually opened for another band!  They were poised to become the superstar group we all know, but back then they were relatively unknown.

They, and most certainly Stevie herself, stole the show.

Needless to say, I knew right then and there that here was a band that we'd all be hearing a lot more of, but little did I know at the time how the album, "Rumours" would catapult them into the stratosphere!

In case you're curious, they opened for Loggins and Messina in Philly and I don't remember the year because I don't want to. Ha

Of course, Stevie went solo and gave us more fantastic work beyond Fleetwood Mac.

Right now she's touring her most recent release, "In Your Dreams" starting in late June, with a stop in Holmdel June 30th.  We hooked up a lot of happy Hawk rockers with tickets last week.

Of the critically acclaimed album ,Rolling Stone says:  "It's not just her first album in 10 years, it's her finest collection of songs since the Eighties".

Stevie revealed that the song, "For What It's Worth" (video below) from "In Your Dreams" was inspired by a summer's worth of touring with Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. She says it was "the best summer of my life" and "you can interpret that any way you like."
