Steven Tyler at 65: To be Inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame

Steven Tyler and Joe Perry will be inducted into the Songwriter's Hall of Fame at a June 13th ceremony.

And a happy birthday to Steven Tyler, who was born Steven Victor Tallarico on March 26th, 1948 in Yonkers, New York.

Also, Tyler and Perry will be recipients of the ASCAP Founders Award at the 30th Annual Pop Music Awards on April 17th.

Earlier this year, the Steven Tyler Act (Hawaii Senate Bill 465) was forwarded to the state legislature to give more privacy to public figures, giving them the right to sue the paparazzi for snapping unwanted photos.

At this point, though, according to dailylocal.com, the bill has stalled in the Hawaii legislature and looks ready to fail.

Meanwhile, Aerosmith is poised to tour New Zealand for the first time and will return to Australia after a 24-year absence in April and May.
