At Princeton University's Class Day on Monday, Steve forced the highly intelligent and therefore way too sure of themselves seniors to a dose of reality,  in his own unique and witty style, of course.

He gave the keynote address, speaking for about 15 minutes, and he told the class that life was simpler in his day, before social media.

When a woman turned him down, she did it in person, providing "the humiliation and self-loathing a young man needs for his growth".

Check out the full speech in the video clip below as Steve offers his best advice on how to live life, including "I suffered, and you should have to suffer, too".

Class Day is held the day before Princeton's commencement. Past speakers have included Jerry Seinfeld and Jon Stewart.

Who would you have wanted to speak at your own graduation?
