New Jersey state offices will remain closed for a third day on Wednesday in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

Governor Christie in a press release cites  "the continued danger posed by and ongoing cleanup efforts associated with the power outages, coastal flooding, and evacuations resultant of this week’s storm."

Non-essential employees should not report for their normal day shift tomorrow. Essential employees should report to work on schedule. All notifications are currently being made and coordinated by the New Jersey Office of Emergency Management in an expeditious manner.
