Larry The Cable Guy (real name, Daniel Lawrence Whitney) is multi-talented: actor, musician, former radio personality.  But of course, most of us know and love him best as a great stand-up comic and one of the co-stars of The Blue Collar Comedy Tour (along with Bill Engvall, Ron White and Jeff Foxworthy).

Larry was born and raised in Nebraska, probably not where you might have thought (in, say, Alabama or Georgia, like I assumed).  His strong southern accent is all part of his act, which he does so well that, well, who knew?
