Springsteen Rocks MetLife Stadium [POLL/PHOTOS/VIDEO]
Bruce Springsteen brought the Wrecking Ball Tour home to MetLife Stadium on Wednesday night and from beginning to end were not disappointed.
Springsteen treated early arrivals to some acoustic songs including "For You" and shook hands with fans. He then started the concert off with some Sinatra and commented on his first time inside MetLife. “This place is pretty nice,” he said of the stadium that had a few empty seats according to the Star Ledger.
"I thought the show started off strong, dragged a bit in the middle, but picked up a lot of steam with a nice duet on "Mansion on the Hill" with Bruce and Patti Scialfa followed by the highlight of the night: a perfect "Racing in the Street," wrote Stan Goldstein in the Star Ledger.
The night was a bit nostalgic as Springsteen brought original E Street Band drummer Vinnie "Mad Dog" Lopez on stage to play during "E Street Shuffle" and some songs towards the end.
Springsteen played for 3 hours,40 minutes. The tour picks up again with two back-to-back shows on Friday & Saturday nights.
