Next month, the Safari Warden at Six Flags will attempt to break the karaoke record to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.

Beginning March 24, Mike Miller will try to break the world record for longest karaoke marathon; he plans to step into the spotlight at noon, and keep singing for more than four straight days to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.

The Jackson native has been an avid karaoke singer for seven years, known to fans as “Miller” and “Wild Mike” on stage.

Miller wants to raise at least $5,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project.

“My dad is a veteran, and I have many friends currently serving in our armed forces. I feel very passionate about this charity, and want to help bring awareness and generate donations for the great work they do while doing something I love,” Miller said.

Donations and volunteers will be accepted at woundedwarrior project.org.

Fans/supporters can connect with Miller on Twitter at @KaraokeRecAttmp and find out more on his Facebook page.
