Silverton Planning a Massive Snowball Fight

This weekend we'll find out which part of the Silverton section of Toms River gets bragging rights as they gear up for a huge snowball fight!

According to the official Facebook page, North Silverton will be taking on South. The dividing line for the teams will be Oak Hill Drive. Participation is at one's own risk.

Props to Tom Charles for organizing this event. His ground rules are classic!

1) We'll set a "Safety Word" that anyone can call to stop the game in case someone is in trouble. The safety word will be Banana.

2) This is a snowball fight which means that ALL SNOWBALLS MUST BE MADE ONLY WITH SNOW. Anything else is dangerous and just plain stupid.

3) Once we arrive to the park we will set boundaries to ensure that we are as safe as we can be and to also make sure that everyone can participate.

4) We'll set a time frame of 30-45 minutes to limit our exposure to the cold weather.

5) Teams will be fair and as even as possible.

6) NO HEAD SHOTS ALLOWED.

This is for fun so let's keep it that way. No hard feelings to anyone. We can all, and we all will, help anyone who is in need. And most importantly, lets make this an EPIC battle between friends and neighbors of our beautiful little town we all call home!
