The North Carolina man, 48 – also known as Amiri Allah – was sentenced Tuesday in a Trenton federal courtroom for his guilty plea to the February 11, 2011 robberies of a Dunkin’ Donuts in Tinton Falls, another in Ocean Township, and the holdup of  a PNC Bank branch in Howell the following day.

Johnson also confessed to stickups that terrorized the shore betweeen January 29 and February 8 last year: at a Dunkin’ Donuts in Perth Amboy and Long Branch; a Burger King in Eatontown and a McDonald’s in Tinton Falls; and a Neptune Quick-Chek.

In each instance, prosecutors said, Johnson brandished what appeared to be a firearm.

Investigators reviewed surveillance video and traced Johnson to a Neptune motel, where he was collared after being seen stowing bags in the trunk of a car and leaving.

Johnson is also ordered to pay $7,614.15 restitution.
