If you have ever dreamed of retiring on the Jersey Shore and living on, or near the beach, you might finally get your chance!

A 91-unit senior apartment complex is in the works to be built on the corner of Hamilton Ave and Bay Boulevard in Seaside Heights

According to Shorebeat:

The apartment complex, which will be income-restricted, is slated to be built on the site of the former Travel Inn motel in Seaside Heights, which is now closed. Previously known as the Village Inn and Travelodge, the motel site was declared an area in need of redevelopment last year by the borough council, the first step toward potential condemnation.

It appears to be affordable as well. The complex will be open to senior citizens whose incomes meet affordable housing requirements –about $60,000 or less..

Developers look to start construction in early 2017.Click HERE to get an idea of what the complex might look like
