Organizers of the "Tunnel to Towers 5K Run" that is happening in Manhattan this week have invited Semper Five 5k participants to run in their race for free.

According to the Semper Five Facebook page:

All Seaside Semper Five registrants are officially invited to participate in this weekend’s Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk, Sunday 09/25/16, free-of-charge!

To participate, simply email us your name at T2Tregistration@seasidesemperfive.org
by Wednesday, 9/21 at 3pm EST.

The Semper Five 5K run was cancelled this past weekend after a pipe bomb exploded in a garbage can along the race route in Seaside Park.

The "Tunnel to Towers to 5K" run is to honor the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001. They also honor our military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country.
