According to New Jersey Natural Gas, more leaks were found on the island yesterday as re-pressurization continues as part of work to restore service.

The Tunny-Mathis Bridge remains closed and won't re-open until the utility notifies the township.

The islands should be open to all residents from 8AM-4PM on Saturday and Sunday according to the Toms River township website.  Traffic delays are expected as the islands were closed for much of the week to allow for gas line work.
