Seaside Heights Mathis Bridge Construction Update

Last week we reported that the Seaside Heights Mathis Bridge (Draw Bridge) was scheduled to open today to motor vehicles after the 2nd phase of Winter long construction has been completed.

However, the NJDOT has announced that the opening of the bridge to motor vehicles is being pushed back until this Saturday 5/13.

The removal of the concrete barriers that diverted traffic to the Tunney Bridge will begin Thursday morning at 11a and will be completed by Saturday morning.
