Search underway for missing Brick Township woman with dementia
Police in Brick are hoping you can help them find a township woman with dementia who went missing Thursday afternoon.
71-year old Nellie Llera was last seen leaving her 20th avenue home around 2:30 pm wearing a blue and white striped shirt and black or blue pants.
She stands at 4'9 and is 130-pounds with short auburn and grey hair and may also be carrying a black purse
Police say Llera told a family member at some point in time that she was going to New York City near 125th Street because her mother used to reside there.
Llera has wandered off in the past and has been found some of those times at undisclosed locations in Wall Township.
She also suffers from high blood pressure and diabetes and has not taken her medicine recently.
Anyone with information or knows the whereabouts of Llera is asked to call the Brick Township Police Department at (732)-262-1100.
