4th of July weekend this summer will be an epic three-day concert at Soldier Field in Chicago for the 50th anniversary of the Grateful Dead.

The concert is completely sold out, but film maker Martin Scorsese will film the concert for a feature documentary on the Grateful Dead that will hit theaters in 2016.

The band lineup consists of Phish’s Trey Anastasio filling in for late front man Jerry Garcia, along with the surviving members of the Dead.

Soldier Field is a special place to be having this concert as well. It’s the place where the Dead last played together as a complete band in July 1995, just one month before Garcia died of a heart attack.
