Were you one of the people that missed seeing the Scorpions on their farewell tour back in 2010? Well you are in luck, as are the rest of Scorpions fans as the band has announced on their official website, that based on the success of that 2010 farewell tour, they will be touring North America again this summer. The 2010 'Get Your Sting and Blackout Tour' was supposed to be the swan song for the German rock icons but apparently based on its success, the band never quite stopped the tour and this is being considered a 'last ride' of sorts around North America.

The Scorpions have also been busy releasing some material as back in November they released the album 'Comeblack,' a series of covers they recorded from some of their favorite artists. More recently, the band released 'Get Your Sting and Blackout: Live in 3D' concert dvd featuring a live concert from 2011.
