Sammy Hagar at 65: Rockin’ Cabo, of Course!

Hey, it's his annual birthday bash, after all.

So here's wishes for a very happy birthday to The Red Rocker, born October 13, 1947 in Salinas, California.

His birthday celebration kicked off on October 7th with Sammy and his band The Wabos shaking up the house in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, followed by shows on October 9th and 11th, which will culminate on his actual birthday Saturday.

Kenny Chesney will help celebrate Sammy's big birthday a day early on Friday (tonight) and Sammy will also rock it out with his Chickenfoot buddies, Michael Anthony and Guitar God Joe Satriani, as well as Matt Sorum (Velvet Revolver and G N' R), among others.

In Chickenfoot news, last August it was announced that since Chickenfoot's former record label went out of business, and the debut album couldn't be found anywhere, they are re-releasing the debut album with eOne music with bonus live tracks recorded during the Different Devil tour of Spring 2012.

A friend of mine, a fellow Hagar fan like me, says she's got friends who are hardcore fans and those redheads are, where else? Rockin' down in Cabo!
