Rook lovers can breathe easier, the coffee shop on Joline Avenue in Long Branch will be open today.

The driver of a Ford SUV accidentally hit the gas and accelerated instead of braking and went through the front glass wall and door Tuesday afternoon around 3:00 pm, according to NJ Advance Media.

Police say the driver was not injured. No employees or customers were injured either.

The damage was limited to the glass shattering.

Owner Holly Migliaccio says customers can access the shop today through the side entrance located in the ACE Hardware store adjacent to Rook.

"We are all so thankful that this incident was minor and no one was hurt, and we look forward to getting the storefront fixed quickly in the coming days so we can continue to operate as normal," Migliaccio told NJ Advance Media Tuesday.
