If  you're a fierce headbanger/metalhead and didn't feel like trekking all the way to Broadway to relive your youth, well you're in luck! 'Rock of Ages,' the highly successful Broadway musical is about to hit the silver screen.

I was actually skeptical making the trip to NYC to see this when it was on Broadway and I have to be honest, even as a hardcore headbanger, I enjoyed every minute of it. If you were a child of the 80's and love the hard rock/hairband scene, you have to make it a point to see this flick.

The movie is set in 1987 Los Angeles, where two young teens meet while chasing their dreams. While the premise is funny enough to keep you interested, we know it's all about the music creating a 'soundtrack 'time warp' to take you back to a time that fans of this music genre can all appreciate.

The movie has some major celebs as well. The flick stars Tom Cruise, Julianne Hough, Alec Baldwin, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Russell Brand, just to name a few. The real stars though, are the bands that provide the musical backdrop such as Poison, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, Twisted Sister and Joan Jett.
