Report of male pulling over someone in unmarked police car not true, authorities say

An unmarked police vehicle with a male saying he was an officer when he tried pulling someone over and drove off when the victim didn't open her window, didn't happen say Holmdel Police who just concluded an investigation.

Police say they spoke to everyone said to be involved who were cooperating and concluded that the story posted and forward to Facebook was a fabrication.

Investigators with the department adds that it was never meant for a third party to forward the incident to social media.

Holmdel Police do ask residents that if they are ever involved, or made aware, of an incident such as this, report it to them to investigate.
