Remembering Randy Rhoads

Gone but not forgotten, especially for diehard fans.

Randy Rhoads was the young and gifted guitarist for Ozzy and Quiet Riot, of course, and he was born on this day, December 6th, back in 1956 in Santa Monica, California.

The world lost this incredible musician in a plane crash in 1982.

All these years later, his merging of classical with heavy metal is still an inspiration to so many guitarists around the world.

Damn, that Great Gig in the Sky must be sounding fantastic!
